Heyoka Magazine Interview with GMS
The following interview with Futurist Gordon Michael Scallion of Matrix Institute first appeared in volume 6 of Heyoka Magazine, www.heyokamagazine.com. Editor John LeKay conducted the interview over several days during the summer of  2007.

John LeKay: I read about your health crisis, when you first discovered your intuitive ability. What is it about a near death experience, a health crisis that seems to trigger this ability in certain people?

Gordon Michael Scallion: Each of us travels on a life path that at key times, or points, meets with conflicts or health issues. It is during these times that we are given an opportunity to evaluate our current path and ideals. It is as if, and in my experience exactly, our intuitive self reaches out to us to aid us onto our true path. During one of my own crises I was so full of fear, I all but shut down any intuitive guidance. The next crisis was less fearful, and I was able to move beyond the fear and explore the reason for the current crisis. This led to a greater awareness and eventually turned me onto my true path. Now, intuition is a natural latent ability. We all have it in various degrees. The difference between levels of intuition can be directly related to one's life path. When on path the level rises naturally.

JL: Do you think there is a part of ourselves, call it, intuitive self, subconscious mind, soul, our authentic self that intentionally creates these health crises, or other types of crises, for the reasons you mentioned? For example, breaking a leg could be a blatant reminder that one is on the wrong path.

GMS: All that we experience in life is previewed in the inner world first, typically the intuitive level and dream state. In this states life issues are presented and probable scenarios explored. These scenarios can, and typically do, bleed through to the sub consciousness mind, which may influence the physical body, creating a matrix for a crisis to occur. Again, these most often occur at key trigger points in the life directed by stellar influences.

JL: What are your thoughts on other external forces like synchronicity? Also on serendipity?

GMS: Synchronicity is but intuitive forces in action. Rarely do we meet anyone by chance. Meetings that may appear to be by chance occur first in the inner worlds, typically during the sleep state when our astral form is able to set up synchronistic meetings with others in the physical world. It is during this state of consciousness that many are able to access the Universal Consciousness and view probable future realities. A meeting for example in the inner world may lead to a meeting in the physical world, thus enabling us to gain an insight to our true path, or provide assistance to solve a problem. Such meetings may at times be with a physical world guide, one whose purpose is to serve us when we need to hear or experience something at key points in our life. Serendipity occurs in a similar fashion. A good example here is Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. Both took naps during their experiments and found when awaking from sleep, solutions to problems were often discovered. Again, when we enter altered states of consciousness we gain access to a greater library of knowledge.

JL: What do you think about predestination, Edgar Cayce and the akashic records?

GMS: While a life may follow a definitive pattern established before entering the physical body, predestination is not possible else the soul would not return to complete its lessons. The akashic is that force where all thoughts are recorded on what may be called a matrix. This matrix resides in the metaphysical world much as a computer's hard drive might reside within a computer. The matrix is a portion of the one true source from which all other forces materialize, such as magnetism, color, sound, etc. The mind of an entity may so tune into this matrix, and if the vibration sought is known, such as an entity's name at birth, or a sampling of the entity's physical body or adornment so owned, then access to the matrix and the entity sought may occur. Edgar Cayce in his altered states accessed this matrix. Today many entities access the matrix, as more will in the near future, as we move from the information age to the intuitive age.

JL: What are your thoughts on karma?  Do you think there is such a thing as a collective karma for a nation? For example karmic consequences for the Germans and their actions during World War II?  Or the Karma of the U.S. for dropping nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

GMS: There is karma of individuals, nations, even planets and all its life forms. For each thought there is a collective receptacle for this thought. We can identify them as positive or negative, good or bad, etc. Now these collective thoughts, which I call thought colonies, build in psychic strength. As such there must come a time when opposites must meet in the inner worlds. Such meetings find a symbiotic relationship with those in the physical world, predominately humankind. World War I created karma of nations, not only for the Germanic, but also for those who created and enforced the treaty of Versailles. World War II was the result.
